Biography

She was born in Zagreb, Croatia. She graduated in 1994 at the Faculty of Special Education of the University of Zagreb. She won her master's degree in 2002 and her doctorate in 2009 at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences of the University of Zagreb.  From 1994 to 2007 she worked at the Social Welfare Centre in Pula, Croatia. From 2002 to 2003 she was an external associate of the Counseling Centre for Children, Young People, Marriage and Family of the Town of Pula, Croatia. From 2004 to 2007 she worked as an external associate at the Department of Teachers and Educators' Education of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula. Since 2007 she has been employed at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the University Juraj Dobrila in Pula, Croatia. She also teachs at the Faculty of Informatics, at the Faculty of Medicine  at Postgraduate university (doctoral) study of the University Juraj Dobrila in Pula, Croatia. She has been publishing scientific papers (74) and books (13). In the scientific field and teaching, she specialised in Slovenia at the Faculty of Education in Koper for  nine months (1.6.2018 - 1.3.2019). She was educated in the field of Positive Psychology - Enhanced Resilience, Strengths and Well-being, Department for Continuing Education, University of Oxford, UK (June, 2025). She has taken part into many international scientific and specialist conferences, projects and educations.
