Best International Paper Award

The 5th International Conference on Education, Innovation and Social Sciences (ICEISS 2026) – Resilient Education Systems & Adaptive Societies in the Age of Artificial Intelligence & Global Uncertainty was held on 20 August 2026, organised by Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), a highly regarded university located in Surakarta, on the island of Java, Indonesia. According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026, UMS is ranked among the top 1,500 universities worldwide and holds the highest level of national institutional accreditation, Unggul.

Assistant Professor Irena Kiss, PhD, presented her research entitled Empirically Derived Ability Dimensions Based on Multiple Intelligences Theory, Perceived Educational Fit, and Differences Between Men and Women, which was recognised as the conference’s best international scientific contribution and received the Best International Paper Award. The research forms part of the institutional research project at the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, Gender Equality in STEM Education and Career Opportunities (STEM EQUAL).
