Welcome Day for incoming Erasmus+...

On Tuesday, 10 March 2026, the Welcome Day for incoming Erasmus+ students who will study at the Juraj Dobrila University in Pula this summer semester was held in the Aula Magna at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The event was organised by the Office for Partnership and Projects. The program was conducted by the professional associate Alisa Tešić, mag. oec. After the welcoming speech, the students were introduced to the administrative procedure at our University and provided with the necessary information related to their stay in Pula. Afterwards, the Erasmus coordinators and representatives of our University constituents (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Tourism, University Library, and University Computing and Information Centre) briefly presented their institutions and greeted the new students. After a short socialisation with each other, the students went for a tour of the University campus.

The Faculty of Educational Sciences was presented to the Erasmus+ students by the ECTS coordinator, assistant professor dr. Alen Tafra and dr. Renata Martinčić Marić, Head of the Department of Italian Studies. The new Erasmus+ students in the summer semester at our faculty are Helena Fišerová (University of Hradec Králové, Hradec Králové, Czech Republic) and Svenja Wessling (Universität Vechta, Vechta, Germany). They are joined by Federica Natale (Università Degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa – Napoli, Naples, Italy), who has been studying here since last winter semester, which she decided to extend to the summer semester as well.

We wish them plenty of success in their studies and a pleasant stay in Pula.
