Homeland through children and students' works

On Tuesday, 16 December 2025, children's and students' works were presented at the Faculty of Educational sciences and a series of educational activities were held as part of the Homeland Playroom project. The program was designed and implemented by a full professor dr. Ivana Paula Gortan-Carlin, full professor dr. Vjekoslava Jurdana, associate professor dr. Sandra Kadum and associate professor dr. Breza Žižović.

Visitors had the opportunity to view children's and students' works and learn about folk costumes and features of folklore heritage. Through creative activities, the typical shepherd’s house “kažuni” and models of an Istrian village were made, and special emphasis was placed on the activity I'll tell you a story about homeland, aimed at raising awareness of homeland identity and preserving cultural heritage. It was once again emphasized how important the exchange of knowledge, creativity, and cooperation is for preserving common values.
