From 8 to 12 September 2025 associate professor dr. Marina Diković from the Faculty of Educational Sciences, and assistant professor dr. Marlena Plavšić and dr. Edgar Buršić from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences visited the University of Trondheim in Norway (Norwegian University of Science and Technology – NTNU) as part of the Erasmus+ mobility – teaching and professional development. This resulted in an exchange of teachers, as associate professor dr. Knut Vesterdal from the same university in Trondheim visited the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula in October 2024.

In Norway, dr. Vesterdal and our three professors held four lectures/workshops each. Professor Diković held interactive lectures on Citizenship Education in the Context of Croatia, Human Rights Education in a Global Context and Human Rights Education Course at the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula; Professor Plavšić conducted workshops on Values and Human Rights and Teaching for Citizenship Education in Elementary Schools in the Region of Istria, and Professor Buršić held lectures on Social Class and Academic Ambitions, Class, Culture and Ambitions: Who Remains Behind and How to Cure War Wounds: Nonformal Human Rights Education in Civil Society. Moreover, as part of the Erasmus+ mobility, a seminar was organized with teachers who teach courses in education for human rights and in the field of pedagogical competences in order to exchange experiences from the two countries. Exchanges are useful for the training of professors in their fields, dissemination of ideas and examples of good practice.
