ELITE-AI

The second transnational meeting of the project team involved in the Erasmus + project Empowering Specialized Language Acquisition with Integrated AI (ELITE-AI) was held at the University of Udine (Italy) from 7 to 9 July 2025. The members of the project team from our University are full professor dr. Iva Blažević and Jelena Gugić, assistant. Two intensive working days served as a platform for summarizing the work done in the first year of the project, when a review of recent research dealing with the application of artificial intelligence tools in foreign language teaching was started, a list of 100 tools was given, they were described and possible teaching activities in which they could be used were listed. As a result of the work in the first year of the project, a monograph will soon be published that will consolidate all the results of the work so far. The project partners have also prepared materials that will be applied in the second year of work, when the specific effectiveness of the use of artificial intelligence tools on the success of mastering the English language will be tested.
