STEMming from the Stars!

On 15^th January 2025 the third-year students of the integrated undergraduate and graduate Teacher Study (Informatics module), together with full professor dr. Maja Ružić, associate professor dr. Andrea Debeljuh, and Janko Žufić, senior lecturer, participated in workshops and lectures as part of the project "STEMming from the Stars!" approved by the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth. The Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, led by full professor dr. Maja Ružić and associate professor dr. Sandra Kadum, is a partner in the project.

Under the supervision of educators from the Višnjan Science Education Centre, Ivo Forkapa and Danko Marušić, the students conducted two STEM workshops designed for lower primary school. After completing the workshops, they visited the Višnjan Observatory and attended a lecture by professor Korado Korlević on artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, the STEM field, and gifted students.
