		<title>Lecture within the Erasmus+ programme</title>

					&lt;p style="text-align:justify"&gt;On Tuesday 14 April 2026&amp;nbsp;assistant professor dr. Irena Hergan from the Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana, gave an interesting lecture to the 4 th year students of the University Integrated Undergraduate and Graduate Teacher Study on the topic of Orientation in Time (within the course Methodology of Science Teaching I). The students had the opportunity to compare the Slovenian and Croatian educational systems in the field of science teaching.&lt;/p&gt;

		<title>Chakavian Heritage Playroom</title>

					&lt;p style="text-align:justify"&gt;On 2 April 2026, the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, full professor dr. Ivana Paula Gortan-Carlin attended the signing of the Agreement with the Prefect of the Istrian County, Boris Miletić, for the Chakavian Heritage Playroom&amp;nbsp;project, which was submitted for 2026 by full professor dr. Vjekoslava Jurdana, full professor dr. Maja Ružić and associate professor dr. Sandra Kadum. On that occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences gave a speech. Deputy Prefect Jessica Acquavita, Head of the Administrative Department for Culture and Homeland of the Istrian County, Vladimir Torbica, and headmasters of secondary schools in the Istrian County attended the signing. The project is part of the Institutionalization of the Homeland Teaching programme, which is implemented and financed by the Istrian County.&lt;/p&gt;

					&lt;p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm; text-align:justify"&gt;EDUCA - Student Association of the Faculty of Educational Sciences was founded in the Student Community Centre in Pula on 3 March 2026. Ema Tašner was elected president of the association, Nikolina Kelava was elected vice president, and Karla Načinović took over as secretary. Their motivation, responsibility, and desire to improve student life will be an important drive for further activities, the aim of which is to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experiences, organize educational and social activities, and create space for personal and professional development. Through workshops, lectures, projects, and informal gatherings, a community that encourages cooperation, creativity, and mutual support will develop.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm; text-align:justify"&gt;All students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences are invited to join, actively participate, and build EDUCA - a place of new opportunities, ideas, and friendships. 		<title>Courage, Vision and Perseverance: What Can Female Entrepreneurs Teach Us?</title>

					&lt;p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm; text-align:justify"&gt;On Monday, 30 March 2026, another activity was held at the Faculty of Educational Sciences. It was organized by the Student Centre Pula, in cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (The County Chamber of Pula), the Croatian Association of Businesswomen KRUG and the Department for Career Development and Alumni of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula. The lecture &lt;em&gt;Courage, Vision and Perseverance: What Can Female Entrepreneurs Teach Us?&lt;/em&gt; was designed to encourage participants to think about their own potential, empower them to take initiative and point out the foundations of every successful entrepreneurial story, regardless of gender or field of activity. Through concrete practical examples, 3&lt;sup&gt;rd&lt;/sup&gt; -year students of the university undergraduate study Early and Preschool Education had the opportunity to see how an entrepreneurial vision is developed, how obstacles are overcome, and how perseverance and personal responsibility are key to achieving goals.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm; text-align:justify"&gt;The lecture was led by Arijela Draguzet, director of Istra-agent d.o.o. and president of the Croatian Association of Businesswomen KRUG, and Federica Ukušić Rovina, manager of the Polidor Camping Resort and deputy president of KRUG. Their experiences from the business world provided valuable insights and gave additional motivation for the development of one’s own career path.&lt;/p&gt;

					&lt;p style="text-align:justify"&gt;As part of the Erasmus+ mobility programme for teaching staff, a lecture by dr. Muhammet Demirbilek from the Faculty of Education of the Suleyman Demirel University of Isparta (Turkey) on the topic of Digital Tools for Teaching Artificial Intelligence in K-12 was successfully&lt;br /&gt;
held at the Faculty of Education. The lecture attracted a large number of participants, including 2 nd - and 5 th -year students of the University Integrated Undergraduate and Graduate Teacher Study Programme and 1 st - and 2 nd - year students of the University Undergraduate Programme in Early and Preschool Education. Once again, the large turnout and active participation in the discussion highlighted the importance of integrating modern technologies into the educational process.&lt;/p&gt;

		<title>Welcome Day for incoming Erasmus+ students held in the summer semester 2025/2026</title>

					&lt;p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm; text-align:justify"&gt;On Tuesday, 10 March 2026, the Welcome Day for incoming Erasmus+ students who will study at the Juraj Dobrila University in Pula this summer semester was held in the Aula Magna at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The event was organised by the Office for Partnership and Projects. The program was conducted by the professional associate Alisa Tešić, mag. oec. After the welcoming speech, the students were introduced to the administrative procedure at our University and provided with the necessary information related to their stay in Pula. Afterwards, the Erasmus coordinators and representatives of our University constituents (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Tourism, University Library, and University Computing and Information Centre) briefly presented their institutions and greeted the new students. After a short socialisation with each other, the students went for a tour of the University campus.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm; text-align:justify"&gt;The Faculty of Educational Sciences was presented to the Erasmus+ students by the ECTS coordinator, assistant professor dr. Alen Tafra and dr. Renata Martinčić Marić, Head of the Department of Italian Studies. The new Erasmus+ students in the summer semester at our faculty are Helena Fišerová (University of Hradec Králové, Hradec Králové, Czech Republic) and Svenja Wessling (Universität Vechta, Vechta, Germany). They are joined by Federica Natale (Università Degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa – Napoli, Naples, Italy), who has been studying here since last winter semester, which she decided to extend to the summer semester as well.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm; text-align:center"&gt;We wish them plenty of success in their studies and a pleasant stay in Pula.&lt;/p&gt;
