In September 2016 we visited Hayastan, the land of Haik'as. Armenians accepted Christianity already in the early 4th century. Armenia has a population of 3 million, it has 10 counties plus the capital city of Yerevan.
Yerevan is its 12th capital bearing in mind country's constant fight for independence. We were giving lectures at the Armenian State University of Economics. While lecturing we covered the following topics: tourism and destination development, tourism management and corporate social responsibility in tourism. Several Croatian examples were presented for students being very interested to hear about it. The warmth of Armenians, their hospitality, the great gastronomic offer, rich cultural heritage and diversity left special impression on us.
